Reiki for Children Level 1 Feedback

We had the pleasure of welcoming Jonee to our service on Wednesday 10th July 2024. Children from our school aged childcare class went to her Reiki course for children. Jonee engaged the parents of these children by getting their consent, sending information and following it up with a feedback form.

The children spent 4 hours with Jonee in a calm, comforting environment. The scene was set with low lighting, incense, crystals and tea lights. The children engaged with Jonee to learn about health and well-being and how to identify the chakras of their body. The had colouring pages about children mediating and they did mindful colouring while listening to soothing music.

Jonee went through the history of Reiki and demonstrated the different chakras on the body. She spoke about appropriate touch and inappropriate touch. The session was interactive, engaging and enjoyable for the children. They came back to us after the session enthusiastic to tell us about what they had learned during the morning.

The children brought home a Reiki booklet with all the information they got during the day so they could continue their engagement with Reiki at home with their families. Each child was positive about their experience and said they would like to do it again.

I highly recommend this course to any school, organisation or family that want to improve the health and well-being of their children. I want to wish Jonee the best of luck in her endeavour the bring Reiki to the children of Ireland through her kind manner and positive engagement within her Reiki for children level 1 course. In today's stressful environment it is important to give children the tools to deal with stressors and anxiety and increase their sense of peace and inner calm.

I recently sat in on one of Jonee's Reiki sessions as an afterschool leader with a group of school- aged children. It was my first Reiki session, and I did not know what to expect.

Jonee is a fantastic person, she captivated the children and held their attention when introducing them to Reiki, in particular its origins and history.

The class was very interactive for the children, this put the children at ease, and they were eager to learn more from Jonee. Jonee listened to the questions the children asked and answered individually, giving each child the time and space to speak freely.

There was a sense of calmness and relaxation in the room during the session. The room was filled with positive energy. The techniques Jonee used were simple yet effective, they were non-intrusive and most importantly they were fun! This was evident in the children's laughter and willingness to participate and learn!

The children left feeling calmer and happier, I would 100% recommend Jonee to anyone needing support, especially children who may be struggling with anxiety. Jonee is a kind, caring lady with a great heart and this comes through in her work!
